Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with age more than 18 years. History of uncomplicated unilateral reducible inguinal hernia. American society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA) grade 1 or 2. Responsible adult company at home until the next morning after surgery. Home within the radius of 15km of Lok Nayak hospital. Access to a telephone all the times.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with previous history of lower abdominal surgery.
