Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of age 20-60 years 2. Both sexes 3. Diagnosed to have benign gallbladder disease and planned for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients undergoing emergency cholecystectomy done for acute cholecystitis o Patients in whom the gall bladder bed is irrigated with saline for reasons like bile leak etc. o Patients with underlying respiratory and cardiac abnormalities o Patients who undergo any additional procedure o Patients on prolonged use of pain medication o Patients in whom drain is placed after the procedure o If laparoscopic cholecystectomy is converted into open cholecystectomy o If patients are started on opioids post operatively o Patients allergic to bupivacaine. o Patients who do not give consent for the study
