Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with serum potassium before dialysis >=5.5 mEq/L.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: any previous history of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmia, patients with serum potassium >=6.5 mEq/L before dialysis, patients on digitalis, pregnancy.
