Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with partial tear of rotator cuff . Primary traumatic or degerative rotator cuff tear measuring 3cm or less. Will give informed consent related to autologous PRP preparation and injection
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Rotator cuff tear secondary to fracture . Patients associated with dislocation. Rotator cuff tear that underwent prior surgical repair or revision arthroscopy. Non-surgical rotator cuff associated treatment in one month prior to PRP injection including corticosteroid injection. Prior PRP injection. Pre-existing condition associated with upper extremity pain including arthritis, ongoing infection, carpal tunnel syndrome, cervical neuropathy or orther nerve pathology , local malignancy and systemic disorder like uncontrolled diabetics, hypothyroidism. Patients with gross shoulder instability . Patients who are pregnant or plan to be in next 12 month . Patients with pre-operative platelet count less than 125000
