Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)patient with hepatic encephalopathy diagnosed according to West Haven criteria. 2)All types of hepatic encephalopathy induced by autoimmune, viral, alcoholic, biliary etiology

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1] presence of a major neuropsychiatric illness, 2] hypersensitivity to RIFAXIMINand BCAA, 3]Presence of inflammatory bowel diseases and intestinal obstruction 4]Serum creatinine levels > twice normal 5]Pregnant and lactating mothers
