Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pregnant women with gestational diabetes and pregnant women with normal glucose tolerance

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria:- Pregnant women with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, Hemoglobin less than 9, IVF conception, other pregnancy complications

Associations between: 1.maternal and cord blood adipocyte-derived (ADEmiRNA) exosomal microRNAs that target adipogenesis 2. With infant adiposityTimepoint: 1. Exosome extraction: 9 months from start of study 2. miRNA profiling: 3 months after outcome of step 1 3. miRNA data analysis: 8 months
