Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients with suspected diagnosis of hypovolemic & septic shock with mechanical ventilator support admitted in ICU.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patientâ??s legal guardianâ??s refusal to give consent. 2. Patients with neurogenic, cardiogenic shock & obstructive shock. 3.Pregnancy 4.Amputation or severe limb ischemia 5.Contraindication to transoesophageal echocardiography(TEE): -Esophageal stricture, esophageal perforation, large diaphragmatic hernia, atlantoaxial disease, gastrointestinal bleeding etc 7. Contraindication to passive leg raise(PLR) manoeuvre: -Elevated intracranial pressure, tamponade, acute aortic dissection etc.
