Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA 1 and ASA 2 placad for major abdominal surgeries
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Anticipated difficult intubation,Obstructive Sleep Apnoea,Obese,History of cardiac , pulmonary or renal disease 2.Chronic pain syndromes on regular analgesics 3.Sensitivity to any drug 4. Taking antipsychotics , oral hypoglycaemics 5. If duration of laryngoscopy exceeds 22 seconds or a second attempt is needed
