Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals of age range 18-35 years. Individuals who can speak and comprehend English. Individuals of either gender Individuals with B/L normal hearing sensitivity ( 493-500) Normal middle ear function

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of other co-morbid conditions such as intellectual deficits, Central auditory processing disorder that may hinder their understanding and performance. Individuals with speech recognition scores less than 90%

Baseline speech identification scores are obtained and comparison will be carried out between scores obtained for TKEO and SMPO strategies, after converting the raw score into percentage scores.Timepoint: 1 day—

Help to find word identification scores in noise at 0dB SNR. Effectiveness of TKEO and SMPO strategies in speech enhancement. Help to know which technique provides better word identification scores/ speech enhancement in multi-talker babble noise.Timepoint: 8 months—
