Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Parents of children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social Communication Disorder or Specific Language Impairment by a qualified psychiatrists/clinical psychologist and/or speech-language pathologist. 2. Mother will be the participant, their spouses or close friends (when spouses are unavailable) will be informant. 3. Parents with a minimum of 10 years of education and who can read, write and speak English and/or Kannada.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Adoptive and step-parents, and other guardians will be excluded (only biological parents will be included). 2. Single parents and parents above 65 years of age will be excluded 3. Parents diagnosed with developmental disorders during their childhood or having known neurological or psychiatric illnesses will be excluded from the study.
