Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All cases of bilateral impacted (vertical,mesioangular,horizontal) mandibular 3rd molars with class I or II, position A or B (Winters classification) mandibular 3rd molars

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All class III impacted 3rd molars, position C)winters classification) and all distoangular mandibular 3rd molars, previous history of extraction attempts or fracture crown of mandibular 3rd molar, systemic comorbid conditions affecting wound healing, smokers
