Intervention1: Concoction: 45ml of concoction extracted from Justicia wynaadensis will be given to the interventional group for 90 days at interval of 10 days Control Intervention1: Dietary and Lifest

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from at least one of the following: Total cholesterol level >200 mg/dl, Triglycerides >150mg/dl, LDL cholesterol >130mg/dl 2. Hyperlipidemia patients not on any medication

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Hyperlipidemia patients on medication. 2. People with other co-morbid conditions like diabetes and renal kidney disorder. 3. Pregnant or lactating mothers.

MeasureTime frame
To check whether there is reduction in lipid profile of hyperlipidemia patients after consumption of the concoction of Justicia wynaadensis along with dietary and lifestyle modifications.Timepoint: 0th week and 12th week

MeasureTime frame
Changes in Anthropometric measurements pre, during and post study period.Timepoint: 0th week, 4th week, 8th week and 12th week
