Health Condition 1: E291- Testicular hypofunction

Interventions

Intervention1: Swayamguptadi Churna: Selected patients will be administered swayamguptadi churna (in granules form) in a dose of 12g in divided dose, with warm milk after food for a period of 45 days.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Married male patients with > 1year of active married life 2.Total sperm concentration 3.Patients aged between 25-40 years 4.Patient willing to participate in the study and ready to sign informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Hypertension, diabetes mellitus and other systemic illness. 2.Patients with impaired cardiac, renal, and hepatic functions. 3.Patients with history of neoplastic testicular pathology.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
increase in spermcount and ability to conceive female partner.Timepoint: Assessment will be done before treatment, 15th day, 30th day and 45th day.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
sperm motility, total abnormal forms and other seminal parametersTimepoint: Assessment will be done before treatment, 15th day, 30th day and 45th day.
