Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Diagnosis of menopause by a gynecologist according to STRAW study criteria and post menopausal period for up to 5 years. 2)Age group of 40–60 years. 3)Be willing and be able to practice yoga and walk.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Women who are already practicing Yoga or any known regular exercise regime. 2)Women with surgical menopause. 3)Receiving Hormonal therapy. 4)Significant cardiovascular and other co morbid disease. 5)Active psychological disorder or other medical disorders. 6)Malignancies in the last 5 years. 7)Having major surgery scheduled within 3 month of baseline visit. 8)Orthopedic limitations. 9)Beta blockers and lipid lowering drugs. 10)Large weight loss- 20 or more kg in the past year. 11)Alcoholism, Smoking
