Interventions

Intervention1: Gongs mobilization with elbow flexed at 90 degrees.: Effect of Gongs mobilization with elbow flexed at 90 degrees in shoulder abduction , pain and function in adhesive capsulitis. Inter
5 sessions per week. Assessment of VAS, ROM and SPADI will be done on first day before intervention and on last day after intervention. Control Intervention1: Gongs mobilization with elbow extended:
5 sessions per week.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with adhesive capsulitis. 2. Patients with unilateral shoulder involvement. 3. Age 40 to 65 years. 4. Both gender. [Page : 16] 5. Pain: VAS in the range of of 4-8 on 10 6. Range of motion (Passive ROM less than or equal to a decrease in 50 % i.e 90 degrees of abduction and 45 degrees of external rotation as compared to normal)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Any history of Shoulder surgery in the last 1 year. 2. Patients with neurological deficits (eg. Stroke) 3. Patients with polyarthritis, rheumatic disease or cervical radiculopathy 4. Presence of shoulder dislocation or subluxation 5. Rib fracture or upper extremity fracture. 6. Any condition having contraindication to hydrocollateral pack.
