Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: GCS less than 12 Traumatic brain injury

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Extracranial injuries Acute or Chronic infectious disease History of autoimmune disease Previous history of anticoagulant or antiplatelet use malignancy, uremia, liver cirrhosis, chronic heart disease, and chronic lung disease.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Neurologic outcome assessed by using Glasgow Outcome Scale-Extended.Timepoint: at 6 months after the injury.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
If the neurologic outcome is comparable to that obtained from two standard prognostic calculators for head injury, namely TBI-IMPACT and CRASH Collaborators.Timepoint: 6 months
