Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Patient with transverse maxillary deficiency based on a modification of Andrews analysis of six elements -Absence of any craniofacial syndromes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Patients with craniofacial disorders -Patients with need for surgically assisted rapid palatal expansion
