Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -All patients of HCC deemed resectable, (based on clinico-radiological criteria with or without histological diagnosis) after Joint clinic discussion will be counseled for getting enrolled in the study Following patients with HCC are considered for resection and will be encouraged to participate in the study Non metastatic HCC in a non-cirrhotic or a Childs A cirrhotic patient if adequate FLR (future liver remnant) can be ensured post resection and if R0 resection can be achieved Solitary HCC, more than 5 cm in size. Low volume (few lesions - up to 4) multicentric disease, localized in one lobe if can be completely resected

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients of HCC planned in Joint clinic for treatment options other than resection. Patients enrolled but intra operatively found to be inoperable Patients refusing to participate in the study.
