Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All preterm babies < 32 weeks admitted to NICU at birth

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Neonates more than 32 weeks of gestational age 2.Newborn with congenital anomalies or genetic disorders 3.All babies with suspected/proven etiologies of anemia like hemolytic anemia 4.Neonates with pulmonary hemorrhage and grade 3 or 4 intraventricular hemorrhage 5.Parents refuse to consent
