Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients coming to Kasturba Hospital, Manipal with suspicion of granulomatous mastitis between June 2019 to August 2020 which is confirmed on HPE

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Non granulomatous mastitis and tubercular mastitis proved by HPE, culture or PCR.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Clinical response rate: (Complete resolution / partial resolution / no response), recurrence.Timepoint: 6 months from date of completion of treatment.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Adverse events associated with steroids Cosmesis of breast : a) subjective by the patient and b) objective by surgeonTimepoint: 6 months from date of completion of treatment.
