Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a) For the group with cognitive impairments- 1) English and Kannada speaking 2) MoCA score less than 26, indicating cognitive impairments associated with neurological or psychiatric disorders such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, parkinsonâ??s disease, dementia, schizophrenia, depression, mood disorders etc. b) For the group with healthy older adults- 1) English and Kannada speaking 2) MoCA scores more than 26.â?¨

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: For the group of cognitive impairments and the healthy older adults- 1) Older adults with severe communicative disorders 2) Non-ambulatory or confined to bed 3) Those with acute illness such as fever at the time of interview.â?¨

MeasureTime frame
To validate the contextually adapted tools that can be used for Indian older adults.Timepoint: Since it is a cross sectional study outcome will be measured only at one point in time.
