Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Outcome day 1 and 30 days after procedure in the following variables between the two groups 1. Average blood flow rate 2. Hemorrhage (Day 0-1) 3. Thrombosis of the catheter 4. Infection (CRBSI) 5. Mechanical complication 6. Catheter tip position in CXR (Day 1) :- SVC/RA/IVC 7. Other complications like pneumothorax and carotid puncture 8. Catheter insertion failure rate: Need to attempt 3 times/ failure to insert the catheter Timepoint: day 1 and day 30

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
