Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Young Children of age range 3 to 5 years and their parent who spends most time with the child 2. Minimum educational qualification of the parent has to be at least 10th grade. 3. Children with typical speech, language and motor development 4. Parents who are actively involved in reading only Kannada stories to their children ( minimum of 1 book in the last 30 days)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children who are diagnosed with any type of disorder such as developmental/ neurological/ psychiatric/ sensory impairment (hearing/visual)/cognitive/linguistic delay 2. Parents who use electronic/digital media to narrate stories to their children 3. Parents who report to have any health-related/ psychological problems
