Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A previous history of ankle sprain with at least two sprains on the same side in the last 2 years Age group between 18 to 30 years of age No history of lateral ankle sprain on the contralateral side Self-reported instability and feeling of giving way Not receiving any other physical therapy treatment during the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Acute ankle sprain within the previous 6 months A history of bilateral ankle injury Bony injury associated with ankle sprain such as avulsion fracture or ankle osteochondral lesion Previous injury or surgery to the back hip or knee
