Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with type 2 Diabetes mellitus

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women/Lactating mothers 2. Patients with diabetes mellitus other than type 2 3. Patients shifted out from ICU 4. Critically ill patients including patients with significant hepatic and renal disease, CKD, MI 5. Patients receiving magnesium supplements or diuretics 6. Patients with history of chronic alcohol abuse 7. Patients with malabsorbtion or chronic diarrhoea
