Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 18 -65 2. Benign pathology of vocal folds- vocal cyst, polyps, nodules

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Premalignant and malignant vocal fold lesions 2. Previous history of phonomicrosurgery for benign vocal fold lesions 3. Accompanying structural and functional vocal fold abnormality like vocal scars, sulcus vocalis, paralysis 4. Prior history and present diagnosis of another pathology like laryngeal tuberculosis, connective tissue disorders. 5. Patients not consenting for the procedure

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome of the study is to assess the Change in videostroboscopic parameters following the procedure.Timepoint: 3 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcome is the Subjective Voice assessment using the Voice Handicap Index ( VHI) and the Voice symptom Scale (VoiSS).Timepoint: 3 months
