Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients in age group of 18-30 yrs of either gender will be selected. 2)Patients having classical symptoms of Saam Jwar . 3)Patients having mild grade fever ranging from 99degree Fahrenheit upto 101 degree Fahrenheit or during premonitory stage or at the commencement of the fever.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patient having symptoms of vaataj , shramaj, bhayaj , krodhaj , shokhajjwar will be excluded as mentioned in Ayurvedic texts. 2)Pregnant womens and lactating mothers will be excluded . 3)Patients suffering from Malaria, Dengue ,Typhoid, Malingnacy, Tuberculosis, Chronic fever and other systemic illness 4)Recent history of trauma and major surgery. 5)Patients on regular medicines for DM , Hypertension , Hypothyroidism.

MeasureTime frame
Both subjective and clinical improvement in the cardinal signs and symptoms of the disease would be employed for assessment of the impact of the therapy and Samyak langhan lakshan. Subjective criteria of evaluation included the observation of both patients and assessment of the investigator. Gradation scale will be done for the given symptoms and samyak langhan lakshan as follows: Timepoint: Temperature,pulse,bloodpressure along with gradation scale for subjective criteria of samyak langhana lakshan will be monitored every hourly and final assessment after 6-8 hours or till patient bearance capacity without affecting strenght of the patient.

Timepoint: Relapse of fever will be enquired after 6 months .
