Intervention1: ENHANCED RECOVERY PROTOCOL: TUBES WILL BE REMOVED WITH IN 24 HOURS. FEEDING WILL BE INITIATED WITHIN 24 HOURS. LIQUID DIET WITHIN 24 HOURS AND SOLID DIET WITHIN 48 HOURS

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing emergency laparotomy under the Division of Trauma Surgery and Critical Care in JPN Apex Trauma Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi. Patients of age - 16 years to 65 years ASA 1 and 2 patients
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ASA 3,4, and 5 Immunocompromised patients Patients requiring postoperative inotropes or ventilator supports Chronic liver disease patients Patients with coagulation disorders Patients on corticosteroids, insulin, anticoagulants Patients undergoing operations for solid organ injury Patients who will not consent
