Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pregnant women Age 21 years and above. Pregnant women developing DM , Hypertension or those listed above will be shifted to group 1b Age matched healthy, non pregnant controls from the Echocardiography department (25-30 controls) Mild â?? moderate anemia (WHO/ICMR criteria); Hb levels: 09 to 11 g / dl

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Existing Heart disease pulmonary, renal disease Any pre existing systemic disease Hemoglobin levels below 9 g/dl Thalassemia major

MeasureTime frame
Strain pattern of heart throughout three trimesters of pregnancy and post delivery on echocardiographyTimepoint: anytime within first 3 months, 6 months, 12 months and 6 months after delivery

MeasureTime frame
Difference in patterns in various groups of pregnancy, those including induced and comorbidities.Timepoint: anytime within first 3 months, 6 months, 12 months and 6 months after delivery
