Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with mild to moderate periodontitis according to AAP guidelines, 1999. 2. Minimum of 20 teeth in the mouth 3. Age range of 25-65 years. 4. Patients who have not received periodontal treatment for past 6 months to 1 year.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with uncontrolled systemic diseases. 2. Patients with aggressive periodontitis.
