Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Term pregnancy (>=37 weeks) planned for caesarean section under subarachnoid block 2. Age >18 years 3. ASA physical status I or II [29] 4. Weight >50 kg or 5. Height >150cm or 6. Singleton pregnancy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pre-eclampsia 2. Haemoglobin 3. Resting heart rate > 120/min 4. History of cardiovascular diseases ( hypertension, arrhythmia, ischaemic and valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy) 5. History of cerebrovascular disease 6. Renal impairment (Sr. Creatinine > 1.2mg/dL) 7. Allergy to local anaesthetic agents or opioids 8. Thrombocytopenia (Platelet count 1.5) 9. Previously known foetal abnormality (syndromic issues, small for gestational age) 10. Refuse to give consent
