Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA Grade I & II 2. Undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy 3. Giving written informed consent for the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of psychiatric/neurologic illness 2. Pregnant and nursing women 3. Known allergy to any of the study drugs 4. Patients with significant abnormality of vital organs 5. Patients on beta blockers, anticonvulsants and other centrally acting medications 6. Patients with anticipated difficult airway
