Interventions

Intervention1: HRIDAYA KALP VATI: GROUP -APatients of Essential Hypertension 2 B.D. orally 15 patients of Essential Hypertension will be adminstered Hridaya Kalp Vati for 60 days. Control Interventio
Dyslipidemia : 2 B.D. Orally 15 patients of Dyslipidemia will be administered Hridaya Kalp Vati for 60 days.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. A Systolic Blood Pressure >130 mmHg 2. A Diastolic Blood Pressure > 80 mmHg 3. Atleast two abnormal blood pressure readings on different occasions over a period of two weeks or more interval is enough , if teh first reading was higher than 180 Systolic or 110 diastolic. 4. Repeated (usually on 3 consecutive days ) elevated blood pressure above normal levels.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hypertension associated with: -IHD,CHD, CAD -Renovascular complications -Endocrinal complications Pregnant and lactating females.

MeasureTime frame
To assess the effect of medicine objectively , all th esigns and symptoms will be observed on the basis of percentile. Marked improvement - 76% to 100 % Moderate improvement - 51% to 75% Mild improvement - 26% to 50% No improvement - 0% to 25%Timepoint: the effect of medicine will be assessed at an interval of 15 days.
