Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Premenopausal and postmenopausal (osteoporotic and nonosteoporotic)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All subjects having surgical menopause or having history of alcoholism, smoking, any steroid treatment or conditions that affect bone metabolism will not be included in the study.

To isolate PBMCs from premenopausal and postmenopausal women and to study the gene expression, miRNA and bone turnover markers.Timepoint: Data Collection - 2 and 1/2 years Data Analysis - 6 months

MeasureTime frame
To correlate the gene expression and also the bone mineral density based cohorts.Timepoint: Data Collection - 2 and 1/2 years Data Analysis - 6 months
