Health Condition 1: K600- Acute anal fissure

Interventions

Intervention1: Murivenna Lepam: Dose: 0.5 gm twice daily
Route of administration: External(Per rectal)
Duration of therapy: 1 month. Control Intervention1: Diltiazem hydrochloride 2% gel: Dose: 0.5 gm twice daily
Duration of therapy: 1 month.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients diagnosed as having Fissure-in-Ano 2)Patients of both sexes in between the age group of 12 and 60 years 3)Patients of fissure in ano with systemic diseases like Diabetes and Hypertension which are well under control were also included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients having Parikartika (Fissure-in-Ano) secondary to Ulcerative colitis, Chron’s disease, Syphilis, Tuberculosis and Ca. of rectum of anal canal. 2)Patients with infectious diseases like HIV and HBsAg. 3)Uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus and Hypertension

The efficacy primary outcome variable for the study is length of ulcerTimepoint: 4 Weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The efficacy secondary outcome variable for the study are Pain, Bleeding per rectum, Perineal irritation, Number of ulcers and Anal Sphincture tonicity.Timepoint: 4 Weeks
