Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Deep pit and fissure system in one contralateral pair of fully erupted permanent first molar. Non cavitated enamel lesion in the pit and fissure system. dmft >=2 and/or DMF(T) >= 1.(decayed, missing, filled tooth) Children with written parental consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any generalized illness on the day of examination. Studentâ??s reluctance for participation in the study. Partially erupted 1st permanent molar. History of known allergy to any substance. With any developmental anomalies in permanent 1st molar

compare the caries preventive effect of Giomer & conventional resin based sealant in permanent molars. Timepoint: 0 months , 6 months , 12 months, 18 months
