Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All Primi and Multi Gravida between the age group of 18 to 35 years with episiotomy Those who are ready to sign theinformed and written bilingual consent form kannada and English

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Systemic disorders in pregnancy like diabetes mellitus hypertension pulmonary tuberculosis impaired thyroid functions Subjects with skin diseases Subjects tested positive for HIV HBsAg VDRL History of impaired wound healing Subjects with perineal tears perineal hematoma or abscess
