Intervention1: Clonazepam as Premedicant 0.5 mg (two doses) per orally the previous day night and morning on the day of surgery: comparison of sleep quality , sedation scale and anxiety scale Control

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged between 18-60 years undergoing elective surgery under anaesthesia 2. ASA 1 and 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients at risk of aspiration 2. Patients at risk of airway obstruction/sleep apnea 3. Known allergy to the study drugs 4. Patients on regular benzodiazepines 5. Pregnancy 6. Alcoholics
