Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group 1 1. Clinically and MRI confirmed primary Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear already planned for arthroscopic repair . 2. Age group of patients between 20 - 45 years Group 2: Skeletally mature cadaveric knee joints provided by Department of Anatomy with intact ACL found on dissection. Group 3: Patients who have undergone MRI of knee joint for various pathologies and sports injuries and ACL was found to be intact for sure in the department of Radiodiagnosis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: Group 1 1. Age group below 20 years and above 45 years. 2. Patients with morphologic knee abnormalities 3. Prior history of knee ligament reconstruction (including ACL, meniscus and PCL), notchplasty/wallplasty 4. Patients with history of distal femoral, proximal tibial or patellar fractures.
