Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for Qualitative part of the study: 1. Adolescents aged from 12-17 years old 2. Adolescents who can communicate in English 3. Adolescents whose parents have had the illness for at least 2 years Inclusion criteria for Quantitative part of the study: 1.Individuals diagnosed with mental illness such as schizophrenia, mood disorders and personality disorders who have adolescent children from the ages of 12-17 years 2.Spouse of the parent with mental illness or the ill parent who is stable enough to answer the questionnaire 3.Parents who can communicate in English 4.Parents who have had the illness for at least 2 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Adolescents diagnosed with any cognitive and/or psychological impairment 2.Both parents diagnosed with mental illness
