Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Out patients or in patients diagnosed as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, delusional disorder, psychosis NOS, Non organic psychosis diagnosed using MINI PLUS Both males and females 18 â?? 60 years of age Patients who are treated with Risperidone or Olanzepine Patients who are drug naïve, off medication for atleast 6 months or have been on psychotropic medications for less than 1 month. Without any co-morbid psychiatric illness other than nicotine use
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Persons on Acetazolamide for any medical reasons. No known medical conditions in which acetazolamide is contraindicated like hyperchloremic acidosis, hypokalaemia, hyponatremia, adrenal insufficiency, impaired kidney function, hypersensitivity to acetazolamide or other sulphonamides, liver diseases. Pregnancy, lactation Sub normal intelligence
