Intervention1: Light activated curcumin solution: A solution(100ml) of curcumin will be procured from sigma aldrich (India) 0.1 % (weight per volume) (in ethanol with 2M HCl ), and dissolved in steril

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.subjects undergoing fixed orthodontic treatment for minimum of 1 month with gingival index(Loe and sillness)score > 1 2.subjects not using any form of adjunctive chemotherapeutic agents.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects suffering from any systemic diseases. 2.Subjects who have undergone periodontal surgical or non surgical treatment 6 months prior to the study. 3.History of systemic antibiotic administration within 3 months prior to the study or any other regular medication. 4.Pregnancy and Lactation 5.Smoking
