Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients needed prolong ventilation Upper Airway foreign body that cannot be dislodged with Heimlich and basic life support manoeuvres Neck trauma resulting in severe injury to the thyroid or cricoid cartilages ,hyoid bone or great vessels
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients aged 80 years Ventilator support Any neck mass or swelling in neck Patients with abnormal or poorly palpable midline neck anatomy. Patients needed isolation like tuberculosis, Hepatitis-B, Hepatitis-C and HIV-I & II . Patients with coagulopathy. Paediatric Patients.
