Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Hb level less than normal range For male: 9-11 g/dl (normal 13-18 g/dl) For female: 8-11 g/dl (normal 11.5-16.5 g/dl) 2.Patient willing to undergo blood investigation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Hypertension 2.Presence of any associated severe systemic illness(e.g. cancer, AIDS) 3.Endocrine disorder(Tyroid abnormality,Diabetis melitus) 4.Severe cardiac illness or IHD 5.Inerited defects (Sickle cell anemia, thalassemia, Aplastic anaemia) 6.Patient not willing to give blood sample
