Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grades I & II. Informed consent obtained from parents/ guardians Patients scheduled to undergo elective surgeries under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Emergency procedures 2. Anticipated difficult airway 3. Presence of neck mass 4. Unstable cardiopulmonary condition 5. Pre-existing laryngeal or tracheal pathology

MeasureTime frame
Estimation of appropriate sized ett tube using Age based formula and Ultrsonographic method.Timepoint: During preoxygenation,appropriate size endotracheal tube will be determined by either method and intubated.

MeasureTime frame
First attempt success rates.Timepoint: Noted after assessing appropriateness by airleak test.
