Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA 1 and 2 patients, patients undergoing supra tentorial tumour surgery electively in supine position, patients who consented to take part in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Significant cardiac illness, Tumours prone to precipitate diabetes insipidus, Chronic obstructive airway disease, Peripheral vascular disease, Raised intra abdominal pressure, Patients in sepsis and on lactate producing drugs, Massive blood loss intra operatively (more than 50% of blood volume within 3 hours), Patients shifted on ventilatory support post operatively, Patients who refused to take part in the study
