Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)30 prediagnosed cases of gridhrasi ( diagnosed by outpatient department of panchakarma. amrita school of ayurveda) 2)between age up of 25yrs to 60yrs irrespective of gender 3)basti arha mentioned in classics

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) basti anarha 2) pregnanat lady 3) known case of neoplasm 4) bone TB 5) fracture of neoplasm 6) malignancy 7) uncontrolled diabetes 8) uncontrolled hypertension

1) Samyak niruha basti lakshanas 2) Samyak anuvasana basti lakshanas 3) Improvement in the signs and symptoms of gridrasi â?¢ Stambha(stiffness) â?¢ Ruk(pain) â?¢ Todam(pricking pain) â?¢ Muhurmuhu spandanam(intermittent pulsating pain) â?¢ Gauravam(heaviness on lower limb) â?¢ Aruchi(aversion to food) 4) Visual analogue scale for pain. 5) Oswestry low back disability index. 6) Range of movement of lumbar spine with goniometer 7) Range of movement of hip with goniometer. Timepoint: The assessment will be done on baseline and after treatment on 5th day based on the clinical changes observed in the patients. Follow up will be done on 15th day and 35th day.	—
