Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients giving valid consent 2.Patients undergoing ASA physical status I & II 3.Patients aged between 18 to 65 years of either sex. 4.Patient undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystctomy under general anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patientâ??s refusal. 2.Patients with ASA physical status III or more. 3.Patients posted for emergency surgery 4.Patients with history of alcohol or drug abuse. 5.Patients posted for airway related surgery 6.Pregnancy and lactating mother 7.History of recent sore throat, upper respiratory tract infection, common cold 8.Diabetic patients 9.Long term analgesic therapy 10.Patients with hypersensitivity or contraindication to magnesium or zinc 11.Any history of difficult intubation 12.Difficult intubation requiring more than one attempt 13.Patients with neurological ,psychiatric and neuromuscular disorder 14.Patients requiring introduction of Ryleâ??s tube in peri-operative period
