Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: beginner runners, hamstring tightness

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) All medical conditions that are contraindicated for strength training exercises as per American College of Sports Medicine guidelines. 2) Runners with lower extremity injuries. 3) Any lower extremity reconstructive surgery in the past 2 years. 4) Athletes who were taking and had previously taken growth hormone, or related performance endurance drugs. 5) Medical or orthopaedic problems that compromised their participation in this study.
