Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Patients 1.Willing to give consent for participation. 2.Waiting for CABG surgery for 3 months or more. 3.Having no cognitive deficit, no hearing and speech disabilities. 4.Age between 18-75 year 5.Both genders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria •Repeat CABG surgery •CABG surgery for associated heart diseases like valvular heart disease and ventricular septal rupture.

To explore the lived experiences of the patients waiting for CABG surgery attending CTVS OPD Advanced Cardiac Center, PGIMER Chandigarh.Timepoint: This is a qualitative study so one time interview will be conducted.

Understanding lived experience of this group of patients would be helpful for healthcare workers to provide better services to the patients with respect to patient care and education planning. Timepoint: 3MONTH
